Although there are many varying opinions floating around, I ask you not judge mine.
I personally, believe it is important to support the BLM movement. I also believe that there is a plethora of police brutality about, I have experienced it myself being mixed as well as some of my best friends being women of colour. That being said, this is a very important matter to my heart and I ask that you keep your opinions civil.
As a reminder, the protest was civil. I was there from a bit before 3pm to 9:30pm when I left. This was my first time walking around Greensboro and it was absolutely beautiful.
The speeches were heart felt. I hope everyone remembers it is an event to go down in history, an event where every state in the United States of America as well as many nations joining us to protest police brutality in Japan, London, England, etc.
Here are some of the shots I gathered there. I hope you remember this is not my voice, my time to shine, but this is my fight as well. All our fights. I hope you listen to POC voices, their stories, and try to imagine what it is like in other neighborhoods.
